The Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), as well as the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC), organized an excursion to “Hidroservice Engineering” LLC for 4th year students studying in the field of mechanical engineering.

The main purpose of the excursion was to apply the knowledge gained from theoretical classes in practice, familiarize students with the real production environment and study technological processes.

The director of the enterprise Bakhtiyar Ganbarov, chief engineer Sabuhi Jabbarli and associate professor of the Department of Mechanics Ismayil Ismayil provided the students with detailed information about the production areas of the enterprise, the working principle of the equipment, and the innovative engineering solutions applied here. Here, the students also had the opportunity to learn important stages such as the preparation of mechanical structures, processing of materials, organization of the technological line and the application of safety requirements.

At the end of the excursion, an agreement was reached on increasing the number of such trips that develop the practical knowledge of students, as well as the possibility of holding open classes in some specialty classes at the enterprise.
