A scientific-practical event titled “Artificial Intelligence at Universities: Change is on our Doorstep” was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event brought together AzTU’s academic staff, education experts, and students.

The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Buket Akkoyunlu, Vice-Rector of Chankaya University (Turkey) and a prominent scholar. She shared her valuable perspectives on the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in higher education institutions, the evolving roles of educators in response to these technologies, the redesign of teaching strategies, and ethical issues associated with AI.

The event concluded with discussions on the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching processes, potential challenges in the education sector, and new opportunities for the development.
