In Tashkent, an international scientific-practical conference on the topic 'Tolerance is the guarantee of peace, solidarity among citizens, and interethnic and interfaith stability' was held at the initiative of the Faculty of History of the Mirzo Ulugh Beg National University of Uzbekistan.

Scholars from various countries participated in the conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of the great Uzbek historian, Rakhbarkhon Murtazayeva.

At the event, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was represented by Professor Eyyub Karimov from the Department of Humanities. His speech on the topic 'Multiculturalism and Tolerance: Issues and Perspectives in the Context of Dual Standards in International Relations' was met with great interest by the participants.

The conference covered topics such as the efforts made in studying the history of Turkic states, the exchange of historical information between countries, the broadening of mutually beneficial cooperation, and other related matters.
