A presentation by a professor from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was included in the papers panel of the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Baku. Professor Valekh Bakhshali, the head of the Department of Mechanics at AzTU, delivered a presentation titled “Dynamic analysis of the mechanical motion of a variable-mass composition rocket system”. The AzTU professor also provided detailed information about the scientific research conducted at the university and answered questions from both local and international participants. It is noteworthy that over 3,600 scientific papers were submitted to the Baku Congress from 95 countries. The Baku event outpaced previous congresses held in Paris (2022), Washington (2019), and Bremen (2018) in terms of submissions. The number of scientific papers submitted from Azerbaijan also reached a record high – 214. Azerbaijan ranked among the top five countries for submitting the most scientific papers, following the USA, Italy, India, and China.
