A series of meetings are being organized with the heads of faculties and departments in preparation for the international accreditation program of 20 programs to be held by the German quality assurance agency AQAS at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
In the meetings organized and coordinated by the Quality Assurance Department, the participants were provided with detailed information about the essence, goals and stages of the accreditation program. It was noted that the program serves to strengthen AzTU's position in the international arena by ensuring compliance of the educational process at the university with international standards.
During the discussions, it was noted that the field visit to be held within the framework of the program is of particular importance. At this stage, documents will be reviewed, interviews will be conducted and on-site inspections will be organized based on the ESG-2015 criteria. At the same time, the participation of educators and students in the process, taking into account their opinions and suggestions, was also emphasized as one of the important factors.
The meetings also provided a detailed explanation of the list of documents to be submitted by faculties and departments, reporting materials and other necessary information. The importance of timely and correct preparation of documents, as well as ensuring transparency of the process, was brought to the attention.
Since joining the international accreditation program will create conditions for improving the quality of education at AzTU, improving management processes and expanding international cooperation opportunities, it is in everyone's interest to organize and monitor this process as a team. For this purpose, it is planned to hold such meetings.
