The Rector of AzTU spoke at the Second Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan

On October 16, the Second Forum of Rectors from higher education institutions of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in the city of Khankendi, hosted by Karabakh University.

Within the framework of the forum, panel discussions were organized with the participation of heads of leading higher education institutions from both countries.

Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), spoke at a panel session titled "From Knowledge to Impact: Strengthening University-Industry Collaboration in Research and Innovation."

In his address, Vilayat Valiyev provided an overview of the current state of AzTU’s cooperation with higher education and industrial entities in Uzbekistan, as well as future prospects for developing university-industry partnerships between the two fraternal nations.

During the panel discussions, participants exchanged views on strengthening university-industry collaboration, the practical application of scientific research results, enhancing innovation potential, and further expanding research-based cooperation between higher education institutions in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
