AzTU Lecturer Delivers Speech at International Symposium in Türkiye

Bahruz Jabrayilov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanics and Machine Design of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), attended the 11th Türkiye Viticulture and Technologies Symposium with International Participation, held in Tekirdağ, Türkiye.

At the symposium, Bahruz Jabrayilov delivered a scientific presentation titled "Production of Functional Cocktails." The presentation highlighted the potential of using various wild fruit raw materials in functional cocktail formulation, their bioactive compounds and nutritional value, as well as the prospects for their application in the production of functional food products.

As part of the symposium program, site visits were arranged to vineyards and production facilities in the Tekirdağ region. Participants explored grape variety characteristics, grapevine cultivation methods, agrotechnical care procedures, raw grape processing, and the production technologies applied across the facilities.

The knowledge and practical experience gained during the visit will be incorporated into future research initiatives and the educational process, supporting the expansion of research on functional food product development.
