A meeting was held at AzTU regarding the implementation of the tasks set forth at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP)

At the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), a meeting was held regarding the tasks set at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), the priority directions announced at the congress and their implementation.

First, bouquets of flowers were placed in front of the bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the university.

At the event, the dear memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the sons of the Motherland, who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, was commemorated with a minute's silence. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.

AzTU rector Vilayat Valiyev, YAP Yasamal regional organization chairman Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, YAP board member Afsun Sujayev, AzTU territorial party organization chairman Habib Mirzayev and AzTU deputy dean of the Faculty of Special Engineering and Technology Amin Mammadov spoke at the meeting.

In the speeches, it was emphasized that the 8th Congress of YAP is an important event in the social and political life of Azerbaijan. The views expressed by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the congress were brought to attention, and discussions were held on the country's development strategy, upcoming goals and directions of the party's activities.

It was reported that the political course founded by the great leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. The basis of this political line is the preservation of traditions of statehood, provision of national interests, sustainable development of Azerbaijan and improvement of society's well-being.

At the meeting, the nature of the decisions and the tasks set at the VIII Congress of the National People's Party were widely discussed.

At the event, special attention was paid to the main directions of the state policy implemented in the country, the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, the participation of young people in social and political life and the issues of increasing their initiative. It was emphasized that educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, strengthening their attachment to national and moral values, as well as developing their intellectual potential and knowledge are important tasks.

The issues of effective organization of work with students and young people at the university, increasing their social activity and supporting their various initiatives were also discussed. In this direction, the importance of continuing educational activities, more active involvement of young people in social processes and a systematic approach to the implementation of tasks was noted.

At the end of the meeting, the National Anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party was played.
