Aynura Ismayilova is a professional with over 15 years of international experience in project management and economic research. She began her career in 2004 at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and later served as a Project Manager for a joint project between the UNDP and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She subsequently held senior positions at the Institute of Economic Reforms, serving as Head of Department and Deputy Director.

With extensive experience in collaborating with international financial institutions, she has coordinated projects supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

Since 2021, she has been at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), where she has played a key role in strengthening university–industry collaboration. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Statistics.
