Open Access Policy

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that scientific publications and research materials produced by Azerbaijan Technical University staff are made available to the wider public on the basis of open access principles.

The policy applies to journal articles, conference proceedings, monographs and other scholarly outputs authored by all academic and research staff of AzTU.

The open access policy is built on the following core principles:

  Protection of authors' rights and intellectual property

  Alignment with international open access standards

  Long-term archiving through the institutional repository

AzTU staff are encouraged to deposit the final accepted versions of their published works in the university's institutional repository. The university provides methodological and technical support throughout this process.
