An event titled “Urban Planning and Architecture: A Vision for the Future” was held at the “Tahsil” Recreation Center (Education Recreation Center), located in the Khachmaz district, as part of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture.” The event was organized by the Republican Committee of the Education and Science Workers’ Trade Union, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.

The event was organized as part of a student camp held at the “Tahsil” Recreation Center. A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), led by Rector Vilayat Valiyev, represented the university at the event.

The delegation included Mirmammad Alakbarli, Chairman of the ETIHI AzTU Student Trade Union Committee, as well as students.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan. The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.

Chairman of the ETIHI Republican Committee Araz Pashayev stated that throughout the year, the committee had organized summer and winter camps, forums, intellectual competitions, sports events, training sessions, excursions, cultural programs, volunteer initiatives, and social projects.

The Chairman of the ETIHI Republican Committee also emphasized that in the coming years, such camps would be organized with a focus on specific fields of study, and more innovative projects would be implemented to ensure that students spend their leisure time more effectively.

The guests then familiarized themselves with the facilities and conditions provided for trade union members at the “Tahsil” Recreation Center. At the end of the event, the students and heads of higher education institutions took a commemorative group photo.

It should be noted that as part of the camp, intellectual games, football, volleyball, and chess competitions, as well as photo and film contests, will be held for students.
