Five AzTU Students Win Huawei Scholarship Programme
Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), met with students who won Huawei’s scholarship programme.
It was noted that, within the framework of cooperation between AzTU and Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), five students from the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications had been selected as winners of the scholarship programme.
The winners were selected based on an assessment conducted by a committee comprising technical staff from Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan. The successful students were awarded cash prizes.
Congratulating the students and wishing them success, the Rector expressed his belief that participation in such programmes would make a significant contribution to their professional development and broaden their future career opportunities.
During the meeting, the students’ achievements were highly commended. The importance of their continued active participation in local and international scholarship programmes, as well as innovative projects, was also emphasised.
It should be noted that cooperation between AzTU and Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan aims to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in ICT, support their professional development, and prepare them for the labour market.
