Four AzTU teams have qualified for the regional stage of the ICPC

The results of the Azerbaijan qualifying round for the 51st International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) have been announced. According to the results, four teams from the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) have qualified for the regional stage.

Etibar Seyidzadə serves as the mentor for the AzTU 1, AzTU 5, AzTU 6, and AzTU 7 teams, which have secured their spots in the regional stage.

In total, 69 teams from 22 higher education institutions have qualified to participate in the Azerbaijan regional stage, scheduled to take place on November 8, 2026.

It should be noted that the competition was organized by the ICPC Azerbaijan Community, AzTU, and ADA University, in partnership with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

Teams that succeed in the regional stage will earn the right to participate in the semi-final stage of the 51st ICPC—to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, from December 11 to 13, 2026—as well as in the South Caucasus Open Championship, competing in both team and individual categories.
