The main activities of the institute:

To achieve this goal, the institute focuses on the following areas of activity:

1. Conducting fundamental and applied research within the framework of cooperation with local and, if necessary, foreign organizations to carry out scientific-research works ordered by public and private sector organizations;
2. Support and coordination of scientific research works in the field of cybersecurity and application of artificial intelligence technologies at AzTU;
3. Involvement of leading specialists in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence in research work at AzTU, training of highly qualified researchers in this field;
4. Monitoring of innovative foreign technologies, research and development activities in the field of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence and search for application opportunities in the country;
5. Supporting the organization of education in the field of cybersecurity, project-based education in the field of artificial intelligence at AzTU, including the improvement of undergraduate and graduate educational programs;
6. Development and implementation of different levels of education, training and professional development programs on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence;
7. Provision of consulting and scientific expertise services to local enterprises and organizations working in the field of building cybersecurity infrastructure, building infrastructure based on artificial intelligence technologies;
8. Participation in international and local projects, symposiums and conferences in the field of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
