The “SmartSolutions Hackathon 2026,” organized at the Incubation Center of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the support of AzInTelecom LLC and in partnership with the Startup Azerbaijan platform, has concluded. The hackathon covered artificial intelligence and mobility, cybersecurity, fintech, and cloud technologies.
Teams comprising students from AzTU and the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University (TAU) competed in the event. Over the two-day hackathon, participants worked intensively to turn their innovative ideas into viable products.
In the artificial intelligence and mobility category, AzTU’s “ChatX” team won first place with its Courier Fatigue Detector startup. The “ISO” team, comprising students from AzTU and TAU, took second place with AI in Agriculture, while AzTU’s “Tab-SM” team secured third place with Predictive Sharing.
In the cybersecurity, fintech, and cloud technologies category, AzTU’s “CyberClowns” team won first place with Real-Time Phishing Browser Extension. The “Nimbus1950” team took second place with Smart Financial Fraud Detection, while the “Aura” team secured third place with AI Scam & Phishing Detector.
Congratulating the winners, AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev wished them continued success and presented the awards.
The first-place teams received AZN 1,000, the second-place teams AZN 700, and the third-place teams AZN 500.
