The latest master class by Igor Nasirov, a staff member of the Sustainable Development Institute at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), titled “Growing Contribution of Azerbaijan to Earth’s Green Future,” was held online. The fifth session, “National Energy Companies (Major’s) Strategies in the Age of Decarbonisation,” focused on the production, marketing, and sales of environmentally sustainable products through entrepreneurial projects, all aimed at promoting environmental protection.
One of the main objectives of the event was to examine various aspects of COP29 and its alignment with the global climate agenda, as well as to present an analysis of the strategies of major global energy companies to researchers, faculty members, and students.
The master class included in-depth discussions on global trends and practices, Azerbaijan’s contributions to a green world, projects to be implemented in Azerbaijan at COP29, and the skills required to contribute to a “green future.”
The event’s guest, Konstantin Kovalenko, delivered a presentation on the subject.
