Students of the SABAH groups of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology at Azerbaijan Technical University organized an excursion to the Institute of Physics.
The excursion was attended by the faculty’s deputy dean Amin Mammadov, SABAH group coordinator Aychiller Aslanova, and lecturers Elnur Baghiyev, Gunal Huseynova, and Ilkin Aliyev, together with the students.
At the Institute of Physics, the students became familiar with thin-film deposition processes and gained practical knowledge about vacuum evaporation, sputtering, and chemical deposition methods.
Later, in the photoluminescence laboratory, under the supervision of PhD in Physics Yusif Eyubov, the optical properties of materials were studied. Finally, electrical measurements were carried out in the I–V test laboratory to examine the electrical characteristics of the materials.
