Representatives from various companies within the Communication Technologies Cluster, operating under the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone in Türkiye, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The guests met with AzTU’s Rector Vilayət Vəliyev and other university representatives.
Rector Vilayet Valiyev spoke about AzTU’s collaboration with Türkiye’s higher education institutions and companies. He emphasized the importance of applying Türkiye’s experience in university-industry collaboration at AzTU.
Durali Çiçek, the coordinator of the Communication Technologies Cluster, and representatives from the cluster’s companies provided information about the activities of their institutions, highlighting the importance of university-industry collaboration in the fields of electronics, automation, telecommunications, programming, and cybersecurity. Durali Çiçek mentioned that AzTU’s faculty members and students could be involved in research and internship activities at companies within the cluster.
During the meeting, the possibilities for collaboration in relevant areas were discussed.
