On November 28, a seminar-training on “Effective communication” was held under the organization of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The purpose of conducting the seminar-training is to provide extensive information about the main activities of the institutions under the Ministry of Science and Education, to support the development of professional skills in the field of media, and to improve knowledge and skills related to topics such as the proper organization of communication between institutions and the media.
Public relations staff and media representatives of the Ministry’s institutions and projects, regional education departments, higher education institutions participated in the seminar-training. Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) was represented at the event by Sevinj Iskenderova, head of the public relations department and press secretary.
Delivering the opening speech, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Education, Metin Karimli, greeted the participants and pointed out that the main goal of the seminar-training is to strengthen communication and provide more effective information.
Metin Karimli added that increasing the existing networking between both media subjects and various institutions of the Ministry of Science and Education is one of the main goals.
Later, Leyla Khalilova, head of the Department of Coordination of Education Reforms of the Ministry of Science and Education, “Action Plan of the Ministry of Science and Education: main strategic directions”, Eshqi Bagirov, director of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, “Activity directions of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education”, Science and The director of the State Agency for Higher Education, Ulkar Sattarova, made presentations on the topic of “Activities of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education”.
Within the framework of the seminar-training, Director of the State Agency for Vocational Education Jeyhun Karamov “Vocational education: successes and new challenges”, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, acting chairman Kamran Rasulov “Activities of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education in 2023” made speeches with presentations on the topic.
In the presentation of Lala Orujova, a doctorate student at the University of South Florida, USA, within the framework of the State Program participating in the seminar-training, “How is a story created?” training was held.
Many questions of the participants were answered within the framework of the seminar-training.
