3 teams of AzTU win competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects”
Three teams of students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) won the competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects” announced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) within the framework of the 2024-2025 academic year. The teams of “KarabaghX”, “AeroTech AzTU” and “VATAN” are working on diploma projects on the topics of “Green mechanical processing and durability of cutting tools”, “Optimization of aerodynamic shape using reinforcement learning” and “Reduction of residual stresses in mechanical processing parts depending on the rolling direction of the material and optimization of the NC program”. They are led by Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz, Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology. General Manager of GOSB Technopark Held Seminar at AzTU
Murat Çemberci, General Manager of Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB) Technopark, held a seminar on “Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Technoparks” at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU) Vice-Rector Mehmet Şimşir, MUSIAD Azerbaijan Board Chairman Rashad Jabirli and other persons participated in the seminar. AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev first addressed the participants and spoke about the importance of the seminar. An event dedicated to International Mother Language Day was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) jointly organized by the Department of Humanities and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). Representatives of Türkiye’s Communication Industry Visit AzTU
Representatives from various companies within the Communication Technologies Cluster, operating under the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone in Türkiye, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The guests met with AzTU’s Rector Vilayət Vəliyev and other university representatives. Rector Vilayet Valiyev spoke about AzTU’s collaboration with Türkiye’s higher education institutions and companies. He emphasized the importance of applying Türkiye’s experience in university-industry collaboration at AzTU. Durali Çiçek, the coordinator of the Communication Technologies Cluster, and representatives from the cluster’s companies provided information about the activities of their institutions, highlighting the importance of university-industry collaboration in the fields of electronics, automation, telecommunications, programming, and cybersecurity. Ahmet Köse, Director of the “Bilim Baku” Center and official representative of “TEKNOFEST” in Azerbaijan, met with Vilayet Valiyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). AzTU representative delivers a speech at the “4th Networking Forum of Young Teachers”
The ‘4th Networking Forum of Young Teachers,’ organized by the Azerbaijan Young Teachers Association (AGMA), hosted productive discussions with the participation of more than 600 teachers.
