Representatives of institutions under the Ministry of Energy met with students of Azerbaijan Technical University
An online meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Renewable Energy Sources Agency under the Ministry (RESA) with the student and teaching staff of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The main goal of the meeting was to ensure the accessibility of information in the field of energy for students and share information that will be useful to them. At the meeting, students were provided detailed information about the main activities of the institutions, energy, energy regulation, the measures and innovations in the field of “green energy”. At the same time, the information on the official websites of the institutions was brought to the students’ attention. Information about job and internship opportunities, employment rules were shared with students. The meeting ended with answering the questions of teachers and students.
Master’s students of AzTU visited “Azerenerji” JSC
Second-year master’s students of the Faculty of Energy and Automation of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) visited “Azerenergy” JSC. During the visit, organized by the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering of AzTU, Hikmet Aliyev, and associate professor Ahmad Mammadov, the students were given detailed information about the working principle of “Azerenergy” OJSC. Here, the students visually observed the processes of relay protection of electrical networks and systems and anti-failure automation, and also acquired certain knowledge.
An inter-student exhibition “handicrafts” is held at aztu, which lasts for two days
On November 29, the “Handicrafts” exhibition held among students was opened at the University under the organization of Azerbaijan Technical University Student Trade Union Committee Khaliq Yahudov, vice-rector of the University, who participated in the opening, said that the organization of such events serves to spend students’ free time effectively, and in this direction, students’ abstract thinking expands even more. The exhibition will last for two days, and the winners will be determined by secret voting. The authors of the three handiwork with the most votes will be determined and awarded with 1st, 2nd, 3rd places.
