An event called “Future of 100 years” was held within the framework of the “Skills for the Future” project implemented by the “Innovations Center” of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event held under the sponsorship of “BP Azerbaijan” company and the organizational support of “Azerikard” LLC is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Representatives of various state institutions, rectors of universities that signed the Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of the project, professional mentors in the field, trainers and other guests took part in the event.
First, there was a presentation of the startups of the I and II Tusi Incubation programs.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education, and Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, BP’s Vice President for External Relations and Communication in the Caspian Region, spoke at the opening ceremony.
Videos were shown about the social-political and statehood activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the works done within the framework of the mentioned project.
Then 19 startup teams formed by the mentors as a result of the general incubation programs presented their projects.
The “ABC” team of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) students, mentored by Gunel Mammadli, an employee of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), was awarded the 1st place. Prizes were presented to the winners.
Within the framework of the event, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, as well as BP’s vice president for external relations and communication in the Caspian region, Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, were awarded the jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “10th anniversary of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2012-2022)”. , the rector of AzTU, Vilayat Valiyev, who supports the innovation ecosystem, was presented with the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan for effective cooperation with “ASAN service”.
At the end, certificates were awarded to the participants of the II Mentoring Program of the project.
