A seminar on anti-drug addiction was held for the students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Narmin Rzayeva, AzTU vice-rector for social affairs and public relations, speaking at the event, said that organizing seminars and lectures on anti-drug addiction for young people is very useful in terms of positive progress in this field. It was noted that all members of the society should be active in the fight against drug addiction.
Speaking later, the employee of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police chief lieutenant Nurlan Aliyev, and Bakhtiyar Abbaszade, the chief operational commissioner for especially important cases of the General Narcotics Control Department, spoke about the consequences of drug addiction, which is one of the greatest problems of mankind, and the measures taken in this direction in our country.
It should be noted that the organization of anti-drug seminars and lectures at AzTU is carried out according to the “State Program for 2019-2024 on the fight against drug addiction and the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors” approved by the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
