A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) recently embarked on a business trip to leading higher education institutions in Indonesia. The delegation was headed by Fariz Mammadov, Vice Rector for International Relations, and Baxtiyar Badalov, Director of the Research and Development Department.
The primary goal of the visit was to establish collaborations between AzTU and Indonesia’s top universities, focusing on joint research, educational initiatives, and enhancing international rankings.
During the trip, the delegation held meetings with representatives from Indonesia University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Bina Nusantara University, 17 August 1945 Jakarta University, and Atma Jaya Indonesia Catholic University.
At these meetings, the AzTU representatives shared information about the university and expressed interest in collaborating on bilateral research projects, faculty and student exchanges, joint scientific publications, international and regional initiatives, and the establishment of dual degree programs and academic supervision.
As a result of the visit, cooperation agreements were signed between AzTU and Indonesia University, as well as 17 August 1945 Jakarta University. Both institutions highlighted their enthusiasm for fostering bilateral and multilateral collaborations.
