A seminar was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) under the organization of the National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Before the seminar, a meeting was held between AzTU management and representatives of the National Hydrometeorological Service. Cooperation, joint projects, training services, etc. within the framework of the “Horizon Europe” program were discussed at the meeting. issues were discussed.
Prof. Subhan Namazov, vice-rector for science and innovation, who opened the seminar with his opening speech, spoke about the importance of the event. Then the vice-rector for educational affairs, Professor Nurali Yusifbeyli, who spoke, informed the participants about the relevance of the topic of the seminar.
Head of the International Cooperation and Public Relations Sector of the National Hydrometeorology Service, Fuad Khumbatov, spoke about climate changes, decarbonization, and gas emissions that create a warming effect.
At the seminar, the employees of the service made a wide presentation on the topics “Gases that create heat effect emitted in the transport sector and their reduction”, “Sendai framework for reducing the risk of disasters”, “Hydrometrological data”.
At the end, the participants’ questions were answered. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to outstanding students.
