Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), in collaboration with the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized an educational event for AzTU students titled “The Consequences of Using Narcotic Substances and Psychotropic Drugs, as well as the Legal Requirements Regarding Their Illegal Circulation.”
In his speech, the head of AzTU’s Communication Department, Safa Baghirov, emphasized the dangers of drug use to human life. He advised students to stay away from harmful habits and focus on learning, engaging in sports, and pursuing other productive activities.
Natig Isbatov, a representative of the Main Drug Control Department, provided a detailed explanation of the consequences of using narcotic substances and psychotropic drugs. He highlighted the importance of regular awareness campaigns among young people and noted that AzTU is one of the higher education institutions actively educating students about combating drug addiction.
The event concluded with the screening of a video prepared by the students on the topic of “Combating Drug Addiction.”
