The next management meeting was held within the framework of the IQAinAR project

The next management meeting of the “Erasmus+” program project “Improving Internal Quality Assurance in Teaching, Training, and Assessment Processes at Higher Education Institutions in Azerbaijan and Russia” (IQAinAR) was held in Baku. The meeting took place at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, with representatives from the project’s partner universities, including Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

AzTU was represented at the meeting by Fariz Mammadov, Vice Rector for International Relations; Orkhan Vatankhah, Head of the International Relations Department; Matanat Pashayeva, Group Leader for International Projects; and Nubar Farhadzadeh, Leading Specialist for International Projects.

The meeting began with a presentation by a representative from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (TKTA) on Azerbaijan’s higher education quality assurance system. Then, representatives from local partner universities presented their strategic activity plans, quality assurance criteria, and reports on the initial pilot phase. Additionally, the European partners provided updates on the project’s work packages, and discussions were held on the upcoming activities and training sessions, with tasks assigned accordingly.

The project, coordinated by Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, aims to enhance and improve internal quality assurance processes at participating universities.
