Climate Change Summit was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The youths and scientists from Azerbaijan and Türkiye gathered at the summit.
The aim of the summit is to raise awareness of climate change among young people in the lead up to the COP29 conference, encourage them to be proactive in the struggle against climate change and empower them to produce sustainable solutions. The summit was held in cooperation with Türkiye Bahcheshehir University, Bilimsenol Platform and with the participation of various non-governmental organizations. The event provided an opportunity for young participants to
share their knowledge and experience and develop new collaborations.
AzTU vice-rector Professor Nurali Yusifbeyli spoke about the importance of the summit.
The rector adviser of Bahcheshehir University Ihsan Alpargın said that the summit is an important platform for the youth of Türkiye and Azerbaijan to find a joint solution to regional and international issues.
The summit continued with skits and interesting presentations by high school students dedicated to climate change.
