On May 31, an educational event dedicated to the fight against drug addiction was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) organized by the “Davam” Youth Movement.
“Let’s protect our future!” Head of the media and public relations department of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, police major Elshad Hajiyev, who spoke at the event, spoke about the measures taken by the internal affairs bodies in the fight against drug addiction. He noted that in order to get rid of this scourge that destroys the society, every citizen should feel their responsibility, especially young people should be more vigilant in this matter and most importantly, they should be able to protect themselves.
Najaf Aydınoğlu, the head of the Investigation Group of the General Narcotics Control Department, spoke about the results of the operations conducted by citizens in 2021-2022 based on the requests received by citizens to the 102 services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the “802 hotline” call service, as well as the relevant social network pages of the ministry. spoke. He also emphasized the importance of regularly conducting awareness activities among citizens along with these operations.
