The republican scientific and technical conference on “Energy efficiency and green energy technologies” dedicated to the training of engineering personnel in the field of energy, organized by
Nurali Yusifbeyli, AzTU vice-rector for educational affairs, and Subhan Namazov, vice-rector for science and innovation, spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference.
It was noted that in modern times, the issue of increasing energy efficiency in both production and consumption is of particular importance. Energy efficiency problems are becoming a central research object in the modern theory and practice of industrial enterprise management, along with increasing environmental safety of production and strengthening social responsibility. In this sense, the conference organized by AzTU and SSU is one of the important tools for the training of engineering personnel in the field of energy and the practical application of the achievements of scientific and technical progress in the energy sector.
It was also emphasized that increasing energy efficiency will allow efficient use of energy resources, reducing negative effects on the environment, expanding the application of green technologies and increasing the innovative potential of industrial development.
The conference, which continues with section meetings, will conclude its work on December 16.
