The first stage of the “TEKRO” Republican Technical Olympiad dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan Technical University.
The Olympiad, designed for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, was organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, jointly by Azerbaijan Technical University and Turkey-Azerbaijan University, and in partnership with the “Master School” Education Center.
Prior to the competition, a group consisting of volunteers from the AzTU Student Trade Union Committee and TAU introduced the rules to more than 800 participating students.
Participants were given 25 questions of varying difficulty levels to be solved within 90 minutes. According to the rules, 9 questions were evaluated with 2 points each, 8 questions with 3 points each, and 8 questions with 1 point each.
It was noted that students who achieve the highest results in the first stage will qualify for the final stage, which will be held on May 17 at TAU.
