On March 12, a seminar titled “SOC Analyst and Real-World Incidents” was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) as part of the Cyber Club initiative of AKTA.
During the seminar, AKTA expert Farid Huseynov delivered a detailed presentation on the responsibilities of a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst, the operational mechanisms of a SOC, and the stages involved in managing real-world cyber incidents.
Using practical examples, he explained the processes of incident detection, analysis, and timely response. The interactive session also included a question-and-answer segment, during which participants’ questions were addressed and approaches based on real-world professional experience were shared.
The seminar contributed to developing students’ practical knowledge and skills in cybersecurity.
