3 teams of AzTU win competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects”
Three teams of students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) won the competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects” announced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) within the framework of the 2024-2025 academic year. The teams of “KarabaghX”, “AeroTech AzTU” and “VATAN” are working on diploma projects on the topics of “Green mechanical processing and durability of cutting tools”, “Optimization of aerodynamic shape using reinforcement learning” and “Reduction of residual stresses in mechanical processing parts depending on the rolling direction of the material and optimization of the NC program”. They are led by Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz, Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
