Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held a meeting with the Azerbaijani representative office of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) and employees of the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB) technopark. The meeting was attended by AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU) Vice-Rector Mehmet Simshir, and AzTU representatives. Rector Vilayat Valiyev welcomed the guests and provided information about the university’s activities, engineering and technology initiatives. Then, Rashad Jabirli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MUSIAD Azerbaijan, spoke about the organization’s activities in our country and its contributions to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. TAU Vice-Rector Mehmet Simshir shared the university’s activities in the field of education and innovation with the guests. During the meeting, cooperation opportunities with both universities were discussed.

Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has been accepted as a full member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). This significant move will strengthen the university’s position at the international level and create an opportunity for active participation in global sustainability initiatives. AzTU’s membership in AASHE will support the university’s efforts to build a more sustainable future in the ecological, social, and economic areas. This platform will provide AzTU’s staff and students with access to international experiences and create opportunities to explore innovative approaches in the field of sustainability.
