AzTU employees participated in the summer school in Ganja within the DIRNA project
A summer school was organized at Ganja State University as part of the “Development of Research Potential through the Network of Institutional Repositories (Digital Archives) in Azerbaijan” (DIRNA) project, implemented under the Erasmus+KA2 program, in which Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is a partner. The five-day training session included participation from Khayala Hajiyeva, Director of the AzTU Library and Information Center (LIC); Inam Hasanov, Head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department; Iltifat Ibrahimov, Senior Consultant for Library Process Automation and Digitization; and Yegana Jafarova, Senior Expert in Metadata. Throughout the summer school, AzTU staff participated in a training program presented by partners from Izmir Technical University (Turkey), Jyväskylä University (Finland), and the University of L’Aquila (Italy). The topics covered included Open Access and Open Science principles, legal regulations, Creative Commons licenses, applications of the European Open Science Cloud, and open publishing ethics.
