AzTU delegation visited Indonesia
A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) recently embarked on a business trip to leading higher education institutions in Indonesia. The delegation was headed by Fariz Mammadov, Vice Rector for International Relations, and Baxtiyar Badalov, Director of the Research and Development Department. The primary goal of the visit was to establish collaborations between AzTU and Indonesia’s top universities, focusing on joint research, educational initiatives, and enhancing international rankings. During the trip, the delegation held meetings with representatives from Indonesia University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Bina Nusantara University, 17 August 1945 Jakarta University, and Atma Jaya Indonesia Catholic University. At these meetings, the AzTU representatives shared information about the university and expressed interest in collaborating on bilateral research projects, faculty and student exchanges, joint scientific publications, international and regional initiatives, and the establishment of dual degree programs and academic supervision. AzTU is in the TOP 500 of the “Times Higher Education” Interdisciplinary Science ranking
The “Times Higher Education” Interdisciplinary Science ranking, published for the first time on November 21, has been announced. Azerbaijan Technical University is included in the TOP 500 of the “Times Higher Education” ranking. It is important to mention that the “Times Higher Education” Interdisciplinary Science ranking is the first ranking table that measures the achievements of universities in interdisciplinary science.”
