AzTU student wins a bronze medal at sporting event in Astrakhan
The 7th international sports games among the students of the universities of the Caspian countries were concluded in the city of Astrakhan of the Russian Federation. About 600 athletes from 5 countries tried their hand at various sports. Nurlan Khalilov, a student of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), competing in the weight class of 64 kg, won a bronze medal in the sambo competition.

Training program launched on “New cyber defense techniques supported by artificial intelligence in wireless communications”
From October 15 to 18, the training on “New cyber defense methods supported by artificial intelligence for wireless communication”, a joint project of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan with Istanbul Technical University, will be held in the capital. AzTU student became world champion of arm wrestling
A fourth-year student of Azerbaijan Technical University’s (AzTU) Faculty of Information and Telecommunication Technologies, Rashad Guluzade, won two gold medals at the Arm Wrestling World Championship held in Loutraki, Greece. Competing in the 78 kg weight category, Rashad Guluzade defeated all his opponents to claim the world champion title in both the youth and senior’s divisions. AzTU’s Rector, Vilayat Valiyev, met with Rashad Guluzade to congratulate him on his remarkable achievement. The head of the TUBITAK KNOWLEDGE Center has been at AzTU
The Head of the Information Security Research Center (BİLGEM) at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Ali Gorchin, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
