The next master class of AzTU employee was held
The next master-class “Growing Contribution of Azerbaijan to Earth’s Green Future” by Igor Nasirov, an employee of the Institute of Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), was organized online. The fourth “Green Finance” part is dedicated to the financing of entrepreneurial projects for environmental purposes, such as reducing emissions, protecting biodiversity, etc. One of the main objectives of the event was to bring to the attention of scientific researchers, professors, and students to examine various aspects of COP29 and its relevance to the global climate agenda. Global trends and practices, Azerbaijan’s contribution to the green world, projects to be implemented in COP29 in Azerbaijan, contribution to the “green future” were discussed in the direction of developing skills. Dina Azhgaliyeva, senior researcher of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), gave her report as a special guest at the event.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AzTU and Quiad-i-Azam University of Pakistan
Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of AzTU and vice-rector for international relations Fariz Mammadov met the Rector of Quiad-i-Azam University (QAU), which ranks first in Pakistan in international rating systems, and highly rated researchers, as part of their visit to Pakistan. The main goal of the meeting between Quiad-i-Azam University and AzTU, which was established as a research university, was the exchange between professional researchers, the joint guidance of master’s and doctoral students, as well as the implementation of joint projects, by conducting joint quality research of industrial importance. Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on issues of joint cooperation in the direction of education, research and innovation.
