During the admission conducted by the State Examination Center, 2585 people gained the right to study at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) at the bachelor’s level in technical and technological, as well as economic and management specialties for the 2024-2025 academic year. The final stage of the international competition “Finding Innovative and Creative Solutions (FICS)” was held in the city of Islamabad of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, jointly organized by the National Science and Technology University (METU) and the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). FICS is the largest startup competition held annually in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan since 2013. Care is taken to ensure that all projects presented in the competition comply with the Sustainable Development Goals. Professor Vilayat Valiyev, rector of AzTU, speaking at the event, spoke about the role of the competition in creating innovative solutions related to global challenges.
