Rector met with representatives of the education community of Balakan district
A delegation headed by Vilayat Valiyev, the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), visited the Balakan district and met with the local education community. The meeting was attended by school and lyceum directors, heads of educational courses operating in the district, representatives of youth organizations, teachers, and students who had scored high marks in the admission exams. Rector Vilayat Valiyev gave an extensive presentation about AzTU, stating that it is the only university in the region preparing specialists in defense industry fields. He highlighted that AzTU’s goal is to become the leading university in the region in engineering sciences and the application of smart technologies. AzTU student shared his experience gained in Europe with colleagues
Lala Garayeva, a student at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in an internship and research program at the University of Agricultural and Environmental Pedagogy (HUAP) in Austria. She organized a seminar on “Green Pedagogy,” sharing her experiences from Austria with AzTU staff regarding its application and principles in the teaching process. It is worth noting that Lala Garayeva participated in a one-month internship program in Austria under the “Erasmus+ KA2” project, “Enhancing the Potential of Universities in Cluster Development and Participation with Innovation and Sustainability Principles” (UniClaD). The internship program not only covered theoretical topics but also provided practical experiences, offering detailed insights into the university’s environmental protection activities.
