AzTU students were awarded in the competition held within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World”
The students of the Faculty of Energy and Automation of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) participated in the “Best Student Scientific Work” competition about “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” organized by Azerbaijan University. The main focus on the competition was “Revitalization of Karabakh – Ecological Projects.” The students Rahman Ahmadov and Nazim Orujov presented a project named “Electricity and Heat Energy Production Using Low-Temperature Thermal Waters in the Republic of Azerbaijan” and received a diploma in the nomination for “Most Interactive Presentation.” It should be noted that Associate Professor Ramiz Kalbiyev, the head of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Green Energy Technologies at AzTU was the supervisor of the students.
An employee of AzTU took another master class on “Azerbaijan’s increasing contribution to the green future of the world”.
Igor Nasirov, an employee of the Institute for Sustainable Development organized the second master class titled “Growing Contribution of Azerbaijan to Earth’s Green Future” at Azerbaijan Technical University (Aztu). The master class, titled “Towards green Industrialization from Challenges to Solutions” aimed to highlight the ongoing processes in this field for scientists, researchers, faculty members, and students. The guest of the event, Ekaterina Sazonova, Caspian Sea Countries LWD Domain Champion gave a speech about global trends and practices, Azerbaijan’s contributions to the green world, and the role and significance of women in the industry. Later, the discussions were held with participants on the projects in Azerbaijan during COP29, and the development of important skills related to the contributions to the green future.
