The 104th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society was celebrated at AzTU
A ceremony dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzQAC) was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event was attended by AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, President of AzQAC and Member of Parliament Novruz Aslanov, Head of the South Caucasus Representative Office of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Davron Mukhammadiev, the representative of the Turkish Red Crescent in Azerbaijan, and the university’s faculty and students. The event began with the laying of floral wreaths at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the university’s foyer. At the event held at AzTU’s Heydar Aliyev Center, Rector Vilayat Valiyev greeted the participants and spoke about the long-term cooperation between AzTU and AzQAC, as well as the importance of the society’s humanitarian work.
