The next management meeting of the “Erasmus+” program project “Improving Internal Quality Assurance in Teaching, Training, and Assessment Processes at Higher Education Institutions in Azerbaijan and Russia” (IQAinAR) was held in Baku. The meeting took place at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, with representatives from the project’s partner universities, including Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). AzTU was represented at the meeting by Fariz Mammadov, Vice Rector for International Relations; Orkhan Vatankhah, Head of the International Relations Department; Matanat Pashayeva, Group Leader for International Projects; and Nubar Farhadzadeh, Leading Specialist for International Projects. Representatives from the leading universities of the “Erasmus+” program project titled “Improving Internal Quality Assurance in Teaching, Training, and Assessment Processes at Higher Education Institutions in Azerbaijan and Russia” (IQAinAR), including Spain’s San Antonio Catholic University and the Netherlands’ Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) as part of their trip to Azerbaijan. AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev welcomed the guests and provided detailed information about the work being carried out at the university. He emphasized the significance of “Erasmus+” projects in the internationalization of higher education institutions and expressed confidence that the project would contribute to strengthening quality assurance in Azerbaijani higher education institutions. Wittenborg University President, Meqi Fang, shared insights about her university and discussed the role of international, research-focused projects in strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions. During the meeting, discussions were held about expanding cooperation between AzTU and foreign universities.
