A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held meetings with prospective students in the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, as well as in the Samukh district.

The meetings were attended by representatives of local education authorities, along with Elvin Mammadov, Head of the Recruitment and Labor Relations Department of the “Iqlim” Scientific-Production Enterprise under the Ministry of Defense Industry, and department specialists Javid Ahmadov and Eshgin Yusubov.

During the meetings, prospective students were provided with comprehensive presentations on AzTU’s faculties, academic programs, dual degree opportunities, international partnerships, newly launched projects, and campus facilities.

Representatives of the “Iqlim” Scientific-Production Enterprise also delivered detailed information regarding the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Defense Industry and AzTU, as well as the career opportunities created for students within the ministry’s affiliated enterprises.

It was emphasized that AzTU is one of the leading universities in the region specializing in the preparation of highly qualified personnel for the defense industry sector. Training in this field is conducted at the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology.

As part of the meetings, questions raised by prospective students were addressed, and discussions were held regarding their academic and career-oriented specialization choices.

The AzTU delegation included Ilham Pirmammadov, Advisor on Education and Methodologies; Yadullah Babayev, Dean of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology; Ilkin Maharramov, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Sustainable Economy; Anar Hajiyev, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Research of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy; and Amin Mamedov, Deputy Dean for Social Affairs, Public Relations, and Infrastructure of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology.
