A seminar was organized at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) by Aliaksandr Birokou, Vice President of the prestigious international scientific publishing house Springer Nature. The academic staff of AzTU actively participated in the seminar on the topic "International publishing opportunities with Springer Nature: Perspectives for Azerbaijan", and the participants received detailed information about the publication of scientific articles in international journals, Open Access models, publication of conference materials and other publishing opportunities provided by Springer Nature.

During the seminar, Birokou provided information about the international scientific publishing house "Springer Nature" and its working principles. Then, the guest exchanged views on ways to increase the representation of Azerbaijani scientists on international scientific platforms and publication strategies on research topics specific to the region. He said that publications of many universities from Azerbaijan are included in their database, and AzTU has entered this database with 474 publications. The most requested research topics from Azerbaijan were mainly selected from fields such as physics, chemistry, applied mathematics and computer sciences, engineering, etc.

At the end of the seminar, questions from the AzTU teaching staff were answered.
