A fourth-year student of Azerbaijan Technical University’s (AzTU) Faculty of Information and Telecommunication Technologies, Rashad Guluzade, won two gold medals at the Arm Wrestling World Championship held in Loutraki, Greece. Competing in the 78 kg weight category, Rashad Guluzade defeated all his opponents to claim the world champion title in both the youth and senior’s divisions.

AzTU’s Rector, Vilayat Valiyev, met with Rashad Guluzade to congratulate him on his remarkable achievement. During the meeting, the rector expressed his best wishes for Rashad’s continued success in sports, encouraged him to strive for even greater accomplishments, and inquired about his academic progress.
