An event called "Youth Quantum Forum 2025" was held in Baku on quantum physics. The forum was organized by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union (ASYOU) with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan ("Azercosmos").
The goal of the two-panel forum was to introduce young people to the innovations and technological developments in these fields, taking into account technological developments related to quantum mechanics and celestial sciences, and to encourage their involvement in these fields.
In the first panel titled "The Quantum World: How Everything Becomes Small and Uncertain?", Nakhchivan Safarov, Professor of the Department of Engineering Physics and Electronics at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), provided information to the participants about the quantum world and its laws and answered questions from the students and young people participating in the panel.
At the panel titled "Cosmic Philosophy: The Essence of Space and Its Impact on Human Life," Vali Huseynov, a researcher and scientist at the Institute of Sustainable Development of AzTU, professor of the Department of Engineering Physics and Electronics, and corresponding member of ANAS, informed the forum participants about the essence of space and its impact on human life, cosmology, satellite systems, etc.
The forum, attended by 300 students and young activists, mainly addressed questions about the basic concepts and laws of the quantum world, the place of the quantum world in technology, quantum computers and their areas of application.
