Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of AzTU and vice-rector for international relations Fariz Mammadov met the Rector of Quiad-i-Azam University (QAU), which ranks first in Pakistan in international rating systems, and highly rated researchers, as part of their visit to Pakistan. The main goal of the meeting between Quiad-i-Azam University and AzTU, which was established as a research university, was the exchange between professional researchers, the joint guidance of master's and doctoral students, as well as the implementation of joint projects, by conducting joint quality research of industrial importance.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on issues of joint cooperation in the direction of education, research and innovation.
